Waterproofing Your Tackle

So I am waterproofing my tackle for bay and open water and I started looking around for waterproof tackle cases and found very little so ended up just using some ziplocks. Is there a good box out there besides the only reasonable one I found (Flambeau Outdoors Waterproof Satchel series) or im also open to DIY options. Search on here yielded very little.

I've seen those but they are still pretty small and pricey (although im learning nothing kayak is inexpensive :( ) I will keep those in mind as an option.

Bigger, cheaper and does the job just as well... https://www.walmart.com/ip/Lock-Lock...ainer/51141623

Get Dry sack

I thought of using a dry bag, never thought about food dry storage, this opens a whole new world of things to repurpose.

Yup. For anything I want to keep moisture off of, I use those Plano trays and containers.

For anything that goes into/onto/around salt water at all, I use these bad boys. I haven't seen a hint of rust since... VCI Pro Chips

For my cell phone, car keys and wallet I keep them in one like this, 20 liter can accommodate anything you need. Put it inside the kayak through the hatch opening. http://www.kayakfishingsupplies.com/lightweight-drysack

Between creating too much friction and shooting blanks, I think someone is in trouble...:p
