Hey guys, making a SD pilgramage to fish in april. Me and a buddy are coming down to fish the Mission bay event and spending a few days fishing around SD. Well be getting in town thursday for a quick stop to hobie HQ, buddy owns a hobie dealer and has never been to SD. The plan is to fish SD bay or mission bay on friday to get him on some spotties for the first time. We'll hit the event on saturday but have sunday open. Thinking about taking him to LJ. Ive only fished it a few times and have the general layout of the fishing grounds. Hows LJ fishing been latley? I know its off season but any help with locating calicos or yellows would be great. He keeps saying he wants something bigger than the 15" bass we have locally. Any help or insite would be great, we both are mostly looking for a great time / break from life with lots of fishing, thanks for the help.
