Several have had Alaska on their bucket list. If you need more information about Alaska fishing I have been there several times working up there in some of the best fishing areas in Alaska and would be happy to suggest places to go.
|
My short list is to get lost in the boundary waters of northern Minnesota for a week or so.

I spent 8 years in Minnesota getting an education in undergrad and chiropractic school. I have always wanted to go there but alas it never happened. The only reservation I would have is that the mosquitos there are legendary. |
After seeing the power and speed of the Pelagics in gonzaga last year, 40+lb rooster is my #1. I won't ever stop fishing til I get it. (Won't stop anyways)
#2 would have to be a bull dorado over 30lbs. Both very attainable, just not in this country ;) |
In no particular order...
• Peacock Bass (anywhere there's big ones) • El Salto for LM bass • Alaska for shallow water rock fish and Lings • Rooster Fish • 5 day skiff trip/kayak trip for Calicoes • smallmouth (anywhere they're big) |
Yellowtail
|
10pd# dine , 15 pd# greenie , 10# bluegill I aim high so I will always keep trying
|
Top of the list is to kayak to Catalina and camp hopefully within the year..
All from a kayak unassisted. • yellowfin •Dorado •halibut •yellowtail •bulefin •thresher •WSB •Sheaphead •GT •Red snapper •Barracuda •Black drum •lingcod |
