Kayak fish of the week Nov/Dec 29th-5th 2021
Last Wednesday's drift from Dania to Fort Lauderdale Beach. The King Mackerel were on live bait.

That Mutton snapper in the bottom of your kayak against your leg puts it all in perspective, that's a big cool looking fish. Keep the reports coming in.

During the summer months temps in the 80-90's with 80-90+% humidity. It is not like SoCal where it can be a dry 80 outside and comfortable. 80 degrees with 80 percent humidity is uncomfortable in anything but flip-flops and shorts. The brief 3 cooler months of the year(winter) temps are in the 70's with comfortable humidity. Most the clothing I wear kayak fishing is for sun protection. There might be two or three trips during the colder months when I need a neoprene jacket to stay warm. |
