The revo is not wide enough and the contour of the area where the round hatch is would not fit the hatch as its flat. You could however install it in the back length wise.
My concern with the conversion for the out back is the structural integraty of the top deck after you remove all the surface area

This would be a problem...........if you cut the hole and then did not install the hatch :D

How much would it cost to ship it down to San Diego?

JNAST13ST 09-04-2012 02:20 PM

Have you tested it yet? Any leaks?

Matar 09-04-2012 02:42 PM

Running a hose over it for 20 min and no leaks. Goop was my friend.

Iceman 09-04-2012 04:53 PM

Shipping is about $7 for the hatch+85 hatch=$7 hardware+$20 bucket.

i wonder if you would be able to put this hatch on the older pa 14. and get rid of the raised hatch?

Iceman 09-05-2012 04:50 PM

You can not swap out the original Pro Anglers hatch for the new rec hatch, even if it was turned sideways it would not work..........I checked for someone awhile back.

FYI, The Rec Hatch conversion for the Outback is ONLY for 2013 Outbacks.

I have a 2013 Outback and it is marked for the rectangular hatch, however i also have a 2010 Outback and the area where the rec hatch would go is identical to the 2013 Outback.

The only difference is that the 2013 model is marked in the corners for it but everything else is the same so the hatch should fit Outbacks going back quite a few years, you just have to measure for yourself.

Looks good but it also looks like it could be a major pita to open while seated.
