Leaving for October on the Fly

I got my Forever Leg yesterday afternoon. This morning
I spent two hours at Von's shopping for the October on
the fly trip leaving early tomorrow. This is the earliest I
have been loaded for a trip. LEG works well and is a couple
pounds lighter too.

I will try it out on the kayak this trip. Also hopefully on the
boat. The ankle works on uneven ground. So stoked. Let the
Baja games begin.

4am tomorrow I will be at Johnnys Shell Station in El Cajon
waiting for the guys. 5am SHARP we head for Mexicali.
Might bee a little windy the first couple of days. BAJA hear
I come.

Seaing we now have internet at the restaurant I will post road
conditions and fish reports on the Facebook page at Mako-Ville.
Tight Lines amigos.

Yes he just posted one about 30 minutes ago. They made great time, roads were in really good shape, and they made it from Puertecitos to Gonzaga in about an hour!!!!!

Damn that is great news. Now just crossing fingers the wind is mellow while we’re down. What day you headed down Dom?

I'm leaving Wednesday morning, the wind forecast shows it gonna be breezy until Saturday and then its really gonna flatten out. However it does look like another hurricane is forming south of Cabo due to a spillover from Hurricane Michael in the Atlantic. Its forecasted to head due north, but its still pretty far off and can drastically change in that amount of time.

It was nice yesterday. This morning is good so far. A little cloudy is all low wind, hope it keeps up like this. Tight lines guys, roads are in good shape. Sea you all in camp soon. I am in the white house until the 16th.
