Mucking For LMB..

Just wanted to share with my fellow Bass-Hippys, a really cool new innovative product that just came out. Z-Man's Pop ShadZ!
(I love topwater action...:reel: I grew up fishing poppers, chuggers, Arbogast, jitterbugs, Heddon, Zara’s, ect and I always hated losing my good lures due to the trebles getting snagged in timber or cover trying to find the good ones..) Well..Z-Man’s new Pop ShadZ allow you to throw that thing anywhere!.. Up in the trees, thick muck, lillys, tules, grass beds and much much more..Serious weedless action while you crawl, spit, chug, walk, twitch & pop your offering into & through the heaviest of cover..Totally weedless.
I threw the Chartreuse/Watermelon color way today with a 5/0 Fastgrip VMC EWG. Went out just for a 1/2 day session & I scored a nice bakers dozen. C&R.

Z-man!

Wade I have completely switched to Z-man products for my LMB fishing and I love that stuff. It's so soft yet tough! I used to carry a case of jelly worms because they would get destroyed constantly. But now a hand full of Z-mans will last for ever. I am ordering those new poppers asap There's nothing more un-nerving than top water action.

I too am getting some for the Gonzaga cabrilla bite, nothing like watching them explode on the surface, instant heart attack. Tight lines. Any know where they are in stock now?

Good choice, Bob! (Tacklewarehouse or order direct from Z-Man.)
Most of the shops around here just want to sell more of the inferior bulk plastics that quickly break. They've known about these amazing ElaZtech baits for some time, and how they are 10X tougher than ANYTHING else. You're probably gonna have to special order Z-Man till more SoCal fisherman start to learn about ElaZtech advantages & requesting the best..These too have a special belly cut out slot.

"Open Water" Red last week from Daniel.

You can rig these poppers a multitude of different ways of course.. :reel:
Here is one method, direct inline treble..
