WTB 6'6" Rod (OC/LA)
 

Since Im new to the sport and starting off, I'd like to purchase a spinning rod that is not too old. I've pretty much broke the bank already with yak and other stuff so Im in need of a good not best 6'6" Med/Heavy rod that I can mate to my new Battle II 5000 (which is currently mated to an Ugly Stick 7' Med action) I've only been fishing Newport and Huntington Harbors but will hit Dana Point headlands and or Salt Creek this weekend so you locals know the fish I target. Check west Marine. I got a rod for $70 (penn blue water carnage jigging rod). I put my battle 6000 on it. Nice combo for under $200!
