whoa this is a rare catch. congratulations. probably fewer people have caught mullet than kayak tuna

Cool that you caught one on rod and reel. They are caught with a throw net a half dozen at a time in SE Florida. They can make great bait.

I always think of Mullet as saltwater bay fish and Carp as freshwater lake fish. I didn't either would go in brackish water. I assume you were in brackish water but I guess mullet could be freshwater. You learn something everyday. Nice catch, again.
