PPP-12

I'm looking for a portable power pack for my Lowrance x-4 fish finder. I checked with Lowrance and the model is discontinued. Does anyone have a PPP -12 for sale or do you know where I can purchase one?

Thanks,
Matt

What's up SP. I'd be glad to drive out to Temec, but I'm not sure it's the same power pack recommended in the owners manual. The ppp-12 holds 8 AA's. Why did you S can the pack and go with the 12v? Short battery life? Seems like the pack would be easier than hauling around the 12v. What was your experience/reason?

Thanks for the heads up. Yeah, I called Lowrance customer service and they recommended that unit. The problem is that it cost more than the x-4 did. By about $50.00 more and I would have to drop $140.00 for the pack. Appreciate the effort tho. Thx.

Use this

And a charger

Its small, relatively light, will run your model of finder for days. One battery vs 8.

8 aa batterys will work the same as 8 d they are both 1.5 volt batterys 8x1.5 =12. d's will last longer then a's
I s caned the pac cuz it drops volts after having the light on for some time. when when the volts drop the sonar gets week.
