Picked up my new PA14 with my son at 1pm and headed straight from the kayak store to Newport Harbor and fished with my son on th back and caught two nice bass within a few hours on plastics. Love the new 180 drive- it's fast and works really good when your close to docks and pilings you can put it in reverse and just back up a little and cause a perfect drift.

Nice job getting it wet ASAP! I think Hobie did an excellent job on their first round of camo color blending, I I have a couple camo Outbacks in stock and a PA 14 too.

Nice kayak! Looks like you were the person to pick up a 2017 PA before me yesterday. I stopped by around 1:30pm

When Mike asked me what type of car I had, I told him a Civic. You should have seen his face lol. Then I told him I had a trailer too. We have a similar trailer set up. :cheers1:

Nice, yeah your Kayak was right next to mine. Wait until you try it, you're going to love it. Nice trailer set up too 💪

Can't wait to try it out! Lucky you that you were able to.

Too bad I didn't see your kayak. Still haven't seen the camo in person.

As for our trailers, you might want to check out a winch post. It was very easy to tie the front handle and it also stops the kayak from moving forward without having to rely on the tie downs.

Yeah, I want to make a hitch post. I just used three tie straps and then tied the front handle down to front of trailer- worked good but more time involved.
