How do you secure your battery box inside your kayak??

I'm storing my battery box inside the hull of my yak, but I need some ideas on how to secure it. Preferably without drilling. thanks in advance :kayak-surfer::kayak-surfer:

What kind of kayak?

I got a frame made for Hobie for the battery.

In my Xfactor, I glued a waterproof container to the hull.

I used the Marine Goop, it eventually got loose, but it is easy to redo.

I used 2" wide commercial velcro. You can find it at Home Depot.

That thing is really strong. The adhesive in the back is really strong too and it won't unglue. One morning I flipped 4 times in a row (don't ask) and the battery had not moved.

Drops in my back hatch -- no screws, no glue, no fasteners. Easy access for recharging.

Looks like this:

Also clamps vertical if you want to put it in the front hatch against the mast holder.

$18

I tried the velcro method, it did not work for long.
