Malibu X factor or OC Trident 13

As i look to this site for insite, wanted to throw out a general question. From experiences you have had, if you had the choice, which kayak would you pick? Thanks

Depends on a number of factors. Your weight, what you plan on doing with the yak etc....

I think the trident is an awesome boat but i've peronally never fished from one. The x-factor however is about the most stable boat on the water, especially if you're a big guy. The downside is the x-factor is painfully slow.

I have not had a chance to go on a trident yet but i do own 2 x-factors. Yes they are super slow, but i can tell you that i have never felt like i was going to fall over on my X-factor.

Plus the X-factor is like the big rigs of the kayaks, they hold so much storage!!
