Hobie changes.

I see Hobie is releasing the pro angler tandem. Any other changes to the pa 12 & 14? What about any of the other models?

What about that new XL livewell? What the dilio?

Matar 07-16-2014 08:42 PM

Standard bait tank in the rear and the xl in the middle full of beer and ice. If the water is cold enough then just turn on the pump.

Matar 07-16-2014 09:22 PM

So would it be a 50/50 or a 40/60 and I so could you choose what side would be bait or beer?

I hear one of the mods they will be offering is a landing pad for drones.

Monster fish Eric! I heard a rumor you caught him flylining one of those rat YT swimming around in La Jolla right now. Is that true?

That is right Dave and it doubles as a poling platform for those flats fishermen.

Nice fish, I saw you coming in. You looked pretty tired. Now I know why. When you say you caught a YT, you didn't say you slayed a monster. Too Humble in my book. I'm still after my first on a kayak. If I don't catch one soon, I'm going to have to call a guide. Thanks for the tips!

You'll never succeed with that attitude

Call a guide anyway, time and money WELL spent, even if you catch one without a guide there is so much a good guide can teach you. What, where, when, why, how, and that is just the start. Tides, currents, winds, birds, bait, darn a guide can give anyone so much insite that you should be able to step up your game a notch or three. Time and money WELL spent, just do it.

Thanks for the encouragement, Bob. I know some guys are against using guides because it sounds like cheating. I understand that point of view, but when you've been out 25 times and only hooked up once (and lost) a year ago, it's tough to develop experience. The good thing about those 25 trips is that with a buddy's tip, I'm able to limit on reds most days, so time has not been wasted.
