Big news for Bass and Brew
 

OEX is aboard as a sponsor and they are participating in a big way. They will be making a donation of a kayak. Not sure of the model but Brent will let me know. I will add to the yak a light spining outfit, a tackle bag full of lures,a crate with rod holders and a MedLight Ugly Stick Tiger rod. If anyone has a suitable reel they could donate to match the rod the new owner would have light La Jolla set up as well. I have three other new Matching Tiger rods that need reels as well. Even a used reel in good shape would work to make these great rockfish combos.
Hobie would like to be aboard as well. They want to know how many people plan to attend Bass and Brew. They are in heavy demand as you may imagine and want to be sure we can show them a big turnout to drool over their great kayaks and gear. There are other companies interested in showing their support as well and i will let you know who they are as they officialy sign on.
If you plan on attending Bass and Brew I need to know please. All companies want to know their donations went to a worthy cause and that they receive good exposure.

Thanks Patrick for putting this together, looks like you went thru alot of trouble to get sponsors on board and planning this event. You can put my name on the list I'll be there! Sounds like fun!

Im not making any promises, but If the halibut fishing around here gets better...(hopefully) I might be able to supply some halibut for the event.
