I need a substitute for center hatch bag

  1. Hello recently I had a center hatch put on my ocean kayak big game, because the installer needed to cut out the center hatch to install the rudder. Then I found out two days later I found out that ocean kayak doesn’t make a dry bag for the center hatch like Malibu kayaks makes for their kayak's. Does anyone know if there’s a company that makes a bag for the center hatch or another alternative for the hatch. :sifone:

I haven't seen a Big Game in a while. Is the hatch rectangular like the ones used by Malibu? If so, is it the same size? I have an extra dry bag for a Malibu hatch. If it is the same or close to the same dimensions you might be able to use it.

dont use a drybag larry, get youself a large cut clear plastic container and use goop to hold it down to the bottom inside of the yak right underneith the hatch, that way you can put your gear in it and still get to differant parts of the inside of your kayak. Rogersmith i think does this, he also owns a Big Game, he might be able to send ya a picture.
