BALLAST POINT ORIGINAL PALE ALE

HobieScot 08-29-2015 07:03 PM

Post a favorite beer

Rogue Oatmeal Shakespeare Stout
It won the gold medal a few years as well as silver medal a number of other years.

It's still my favorite stout

But when I can't find the Rogue pairing a stout with a steak you just can't beat a Young's Oatmeal Stout which is usually easier to find

That's a good one.

I always keep Heineken in the fridge, but Ballast Point Sculpin is on regular rotation. I've had the other variations of sculpin, and they're good too, but I prefer the original recipe.

Didn't Stone donate a bunch of money to the Surfrider foundation who was a huge supporter of the MLPA?

Yes they did. Repeatedly. When asked about it they said they didn't know. Kinda goes against their whole marketing campaign about not being led around blindly by the nose.

IMO they are "not worthy"

My new favorite is the Blood Orange IPA from latitude 33. If you have not had it, try it. When my wife likes an IPA, its GOOD!
