Maiden voyage 2morrow

Well I got my first yak today, and I can't wait to get her out tomorrow. I will be launching out of del mar marina on base around 0600. Anyone is welcome to join me. Any advice on what to use for bait and where to go would be greatly appreciated. Tight lines!:paddleersmilie:

Have fun and be safe. I'm not familiar with that area so I don't have any tips. What is your new ride?

Congrats on the new ride!

Take it slow, and don't bring too much onto the water. If I was you, I might even just paddle around and try to tip it, see how she handles so you know the limits of it in the future.

Good luck to you, and let's see some pictures!

I got a ocean prowler 15. Got for a steal! 100$ awesome condition! What's a good rig for halibut and bass?

3 inch Gulp with a lead head works well when you long line it. Keep it on the bottom. Also swim baits work. good luck:reeling::reeling::reeling:
