A watch Q

Ok my old watch is showing its age of close to 20 years and i started to look at some new watches. Been looking at seiko kinetic dive watches and the citizen eco drive. Does 330' is enough for kayaking or 660' is a must? What do you guys use on the water?? i also do plenty of other outdoor stuff so want a watch that can take it and last me for another 20+ years.

i have a solar powered Frogman anniversary ed that is pretty sweet. solar powered, holds lots of your dive info, you can enter in your own ID information and all sorts of other crazy diver related stuff.

Im more into what time and date it is type of a watch.. Simple watches tend to last much longer for me and besides i never use all the other features..

I wear a near indescructible casio g shock, and save the money for rods and reels! :)

I have a couple more expensive watches but find that my go-to watch for fishing is a Nixon tide table watch (little over $100) that I "borrowed" from my son last year. It has a read out for time/ft of hi and low tides for the day and the the next day. It also has a tidal graph so you can tell at a glance what the tide is at the moment. How cool is that?!

X2 on the Nixon Watch. My fiance got me one for Christmas and I love it (t was more a gift for her since I seem to lose track of time on the water...)

You can even set it up for tides at a second location. My home tide is Newport and my away tide is La Jolla...its pretty awesome!
