Baja seems to be pretty awesome! It's a long drive and a hassle to get down there...but no reservations, no crowds, and a good time.

Bring yakjoe with you!

PLEASE bring yakjoe, soon to be known as bsJOE. PLEASE!!! Only 6 hours from San Diego or 4 hours from Calexico. Gonzaga is AWESOME, can YOU handle that?

fisheyechannel 05-06-2014 02:30 PM

Looking for places in Cali. Mex sounds good, but out of timeframe and budget.

Wow! It looks like yakjoe is a popular guy here on BWE.

fisheyechannel 05-06-2014 03:44 PM

What is caught at Doheny?
Where do you fish the Dana Point Breakwall?

jorluivil 05-06-2014 04:22 PM

We're headed to Gonzaga in June.......you've got more than enough time to plan and find Yakjoe.

fisheyechannel 05-06-2014 04:43 PM

Sounds Awesome!

There was a camping invite opened a while back about the Salton Sea, always possible to spark that idea up again. It was a camping, sailing, and drinking extravaganza! There were some strict requirements which prevented most of us from going but maybe some of you newbies can make it work. It's open to all except:

"NO WHINERS, NO FAGS, NO LYIN' BADGE-SPORTIN' GREASEBALLS OF ANY KIND, AND NO TEMPERANCE REVIVALISTS... WE DRINK BEER ON EVERY VOYAGE, AND SH!TLOADS OF IT....NO CLUBHOUSE KOOKS AND POSERS OUT THERE, AND THERE DAMNED SURE AIN'T NO EPIC FAGTARD DARWIN FAILURES"

If you are interested in this trip and don't fall within the excluded criteria, please message SmallCraftSailor.

fish the capo & doho area, the pipe, the break-wall or the headlands.

Need to reserve 6 mos in advance. Spots for summer go fast.

fisheyechannel 05-07-2014 06:23 AM

Thanks, I see availability on the weekdays, so I might book this spot.
