What's the parking situation at cherry Beach? I've been out there to hoopnet Chaffey Island but never really paid attention to through parking restrictions.

landwhale 07-20-2014 02:42 PM

Parking is $1.00 an hour paid in quarters in a parking meter.

Is that the parking lot off of Junipero Avenue?

landwhale 07-21-2014 02:29 AM

Yes it is we meet at the south end of the lot

Fishin' Magician 07-28-2014 05:52 AM

For those of us who may not be familiar with where that is, can someone provide an approximate address or the area where this beach is located? Is this in Long Beach off of E. Ocean Blvd?

Big T 07-28-2014 06:46 AM

No "max" on the meter?

landwhale 07-28-2014 08:06 AM

It is a block south of Cherry Ave and Ocean Blvd and there is no max on the meter I usually feed it 8 dollars to cover 8 hours when I fish Island White

octico 07-28-2014 08:16 AM

Dumb question ...

What is a BBW?

landwhale 07-28-2014 08:28 AM

BBW stands for Big Bass Weight In we all fish and keep our biggest legal bass which is 14" alive in a live well or stringer the fish has to be alive at weight in and the largest bass wins the money, google Junipero and Ocean in Long Beach and you will see the parking lot and we meet at the south end. And you will need 7 dollars in quarters at least for parking

I think I've seen a BBW section on craigslist, should go see what they're selling.. ;)

You can put up to 10 hours at one time on the meter. It's the old non digital one. But you can always refill.

You're in my prayers Steve. Sorry I had to cut you off on the phone today. Busy day at work. Talk to you in a few days.
