Bicycle Built For Two

I am ready to get a tandem for the Charters, unfortunately I cannot afford the PA 17.. Adventure too big also for my storage reasons. I am wondering what some of you HOBIE Tandem Kayak Anglers feel would be a best bet for me? :reeling:
Sometimes I might take it solo. Which model performs better in these instances? (I saw a guy the other day in LJ who carries a kettlebell up front to offset hullslap while solo. I guess I can always use a forkie or two to ballast it..)
Hows you say, BWE?..

MHO Oasis.

Your other choice is the Outfitter, but for solo fishing the Oasis handles far better solo.

I don't think I'll ever go back to a solo yak. Ballast is a must for control, but there are a lot of options on how to handle that.

Personally, I would save up for the PA17. I am thinking of selling my two PA14's and make up the difference.

+I'd also need a trailer, + No room for it. I barely have enough room now in my garage for a 14' with my Washer & Dryer..lol....I don't necessarily need the hatch or live well storage area.. more time for artificials, but Im strongly leaning towards the Oasis..I might get the 17T to keep at my Florida place though, Dave..

Do not buy the outfitter. Very wet ride, especially the guy in back.

By the time you put in two grown ups, 4 rods and bait tank....you pretty much over the weight capacity.

I have an Outfitter and I would recommend the Oasis as well. The Outfitter definitely has its pluses, but for your application the Oasis is a no-brainer choice.
