Pro Angler 12 cart options

My PA12 is a beast. I can't see using a scupper cart regularly. Too much hassle and too hard on the scuppers. I've got a boonedox kit here but I'm reluctant to drill holes in the hull and also add another permanent 10-15 lbs to the PA. I did not realize how heavy this thing is. I've got to paddle...pedal... this thing right? I'm looking for some feedback wrt cart options that work well with the Pro Angler 12.

Thanks,

Mark

Wheeleez Cart with the crossbars work just fine.

If I think the scupper cart is hard on the walls you should think twice about the boonedox.

I got the C-Tug and even though the You Tube video makes it look easy but overall its still a hassle

Anyone use the hobie dolly? Expensive but hey what’s another 500 after buying a pa?

I also use a C-Tug and it’s not easy by any means. But I like not having to tip the kayak on its side to put the cart in.

Hmm I look at it this way I could easily come up with a repair in area of the Boonedox mounting location IF that where to happen . A Scupper repair is level trust 3-4 miles off beach ain’t my level of piece of mind and comfort. With that anyone willing come up with REAL NUMBERS . On hull failure from a Dox landing gear .

The Boonedox is very low stress on the hull. Mine has seen heavy use and pulled across deep gravel and sand, sometimes being towed by a quad in Mako-ville with no issues at all. Just install what you have and don't look back. I did not notice any difference in speed or energy required to peddle it when the Boonedox went on, and I always keep the wheels on the boat when fishing.
