Suggestions for long fishing pants

Looking for recommendations for long pants... should be water and wind resistant, lightwieght and preferably have UV protection. Please include Amazon link if handy. Anyone use ripstop pants?... please give a review and Amazon link if they work well.
Thanks

I can not review the pants, but I currently use the shirts and love them. The pants are gonna be a loose fit and comfortable. Probably convertible to shorts. Good luck.

I never have a problem being cold, usually for me I am trying to stay cool.

These are not water resistant but quick drying.

These are the light weight but they have thicker versions too. They have lasted 3.5 seasons so far and going strong.

Thanks for the replies. Anybody else have some favorite pants they wear for fishing??
Agree that shorts are the way to go most of the time but my legs are getting pretty toasted after multiple long sessions while out of work.

I have been using rain pants .It’s light and fast dry. When it’s getting hot I just splash a bit of water over it. And the full side zipper make it easy to pee.

Patagonia Quandry pants. They’re light weight hiking pants with a DWR coating, so the water just beads up and rolls off. They’re also SPF 50, and the fabric has some stretch, so they’re very comfortable all day. I usually kayak in shorts, but have used these a few times. I can actually wade into the surf and launch and the pants come out of the water dry.

I have long worn ripstop cargo pants I got on amazon.
TheyÂ’re great, but can hold a bit of moisture if I take a wave going out early.

Recently, I switched to leggings from coolibar under board shorts.
Great for UPF, breathable when itÂ’s hot, quick to dry, and warm in the morning.

These NRS splash pants are really nice. I pretty much wear waders 10 months of the year. I'll wear some thermal underarmor tights and boardshorts under the waders so as soon as I get hot I can just take off the shell and be comfy in the sun.

Go to Costco and buy some of the water resistant hiking pants. They're cheap, comfortable, and work great.

And the occasional dousing with scotchguard will make them waterproof.

I use Kokatat splash pants to keep the sun off and scuba booties to protect the feet

X2 on the NRS Endurance pants. I have been using those for 5 years when the water is cold or mostly when the wind is blowing and just having board shorts on makes the legs get cold. I have a pair of waders but only use those a hand full of time each year. Living in San Diego we are spoiled cause we almost don't have winters. Here the link for Kayak Fishing Supply, you know the guys who sponsor this web page and forum. Return the favor, buy local. https://www.kayakfishingsupplies.com...g-pants-by-nrs
