I forgot to ask it, but I think Nate is correct, probably picked up on the drop. Sometimes they hit it, drop it then pick it up right away.
So if I get bumbed near the bottom, I just let it free fall right back down. I have hooked alot in the top I think, but I never thought about it much. Now that I think about it I bet I hook way more on the drop, or while bouncing it on the bottom than I do the retrieve. Dave |
