Sportsmanship

Yakkers excell in demonstrating sportsmanship. After an hour drive, unloading and setting up my kayak in Alimitos Bay; I discovered I left my #@*&^% paddle at home in Huntington Beach. Ken, a fellow kayaker from Whittier loaned me his paddle as he was loading up. Matt, another great sportman, offered to drop off the paddle at Ken's, on his (Matt's) way home to La Puente, Saving me a two hour round trip to return the paddle to Ken.

Thank's guys! What a sport.

That's the number one thing that attracted me to this sport..... The kind people.

Yep totally agree... Kayak fishermen, in general, are some of the most helpful and friendly people around.

BWE peeps are the best you will find, kinda like one big family, I thought I was the only one that ever left the main ingredient to my kayak at home,
embarrasing...still haven't lived that story down yet, but it is pretty funny after it happened huh??? :reel:
