Hobie's NEW Revolution 11
I got to try one out today, killer new kayak available in September. New soft molded side handles, this thing carries like a Mini X!.....well almost:D New seat post secure, new mirage drive guide, makes it a snap to drop into place. Wider, flatter seat than the Revolution.
MSRP is said to be $1749 Ready to take your order <iframe src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/xQd6WPF71l0" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="349" width="560"></iframe> |
Sweet! Time to get a Hobie!!
|
So does that mean they are going to raise the price on the larger revo???
It is a great idea for Hobie to get a smaller version of the revo but at the same time I am confused.....getting something smaller for the same price as the bigger one used to be......is Hobie just taking inflation to the next level? |
MSRP for the Revolution is currently $1799
|
LOL!!!!! Not going to stir up a pot of turds. Hobie does have a great product but can't believe you only save $50 with a much smaller version. Don't know what they are :sifone: but it must be pretty darn good.

That thing looks like a torpedo.
|
think that's too small for me, where can we get stats for that.
|
Looks like the Quest with a Mirage Drive. We can I test paddle eerrr I mean peddle one. :luxhello:

This is a preview of the latest released at ICAST.......not available until SEPTEMBER! |
Six months ago i met a designer/engineer for Hobie kayaks Here in SD. He told me about the new upcoming improved Hobie kayaks in September. He aslo told me Hobie is making an all new Hobie kayak. Its similar to a PA but smaller and faster more built for the ocean. He asked not to post it... but since the cat is out of the bag, has anybody seen it in the boat show yet?

Best part of this new, smaller Revo and the price increases is the fact that my Revo is now worth more. Leo, you shouldn't have bought that Outback.......this Revo would have been the perfect match to your speedos. :leaving: |
That looks sweet. If anyone wants to unload their old Revo and buy the '11, I'll be happy to make an offer.
|
Looks good, Im looking for a revo now , might have to wait.
