i was just wondering, if you can leave a hoop net over night???:lobster::lobster::lobster:

There is a time limit and max distance from nets. Might want to check the regs for details.

A hoop net is not a trap. The bugs will just eat your bait then they'll crawl away. Mike

I think the maximum time away allowed is 2 hours. Then it would be considered as abandoned.

Your bait could be eaten within minutes or an hour and then they'll move
right along. Yes they can crawl right out of a conical net very rapidly.
Hard to believe but on good crawl nights they will decimate a baitcage
stuffed full of mackerel in 1/2 hour, down to the fish bones.
