Central Coast Halloween Yak Report
3 Attachment(s)
We hit the water on halloween this year with one thought on our minds, Jurasic fishing. We peddled and paddled out to the usual spot for the usuall suspects and got everything we bargined for. Lets say we did some trick or treating. We brought out our good friend paul who recently got maried and well you know how that can go so he needed this trip. Paul started out tearing it up with some nice rockfish candy on the trick and treat line. Paul was doing real good till he noticed his yak was taking on water. His hatch wasnt closing cause his leash was blocking the way. Paul ended up in the water and losing his catch but not his gear. Thank god Chris uses a tandem ocean yak. The two of them got real close to fisnish out the day with limits on rockfish and lings. Chris also got his limit on cabezon. Nelson killed the Cabz hitting three monsters. They were all three over 24 inches. He also got his limit and once again nailed a huge black rockfish. i came up with my limit in Cabz also and my rockfish limit. Also nailed a nice Ling for the bear batter. It was a good trick and treat this year. Still made it back for the real trick or treat with the kids.
