8/18 Guess I should fish for YT...
 

...then maybe I'd catch halibut. Got bait and was heading to a halibut spot, just starting to think "I guess there's no YT this morning", when the flyline goes off. Long steady fight, kind of weird for a YT, but once vertical the tail thumps gave it away. Stuck the ~26 lb fish and spent the rest of the morning in a fruitless search for flatness. Donated half on the water and filleted the rest on the boat since I had to go to work. Pics to follow.

Thinking about trying my luck monday morning . Has the bite slowed due to the temp drop or are my chances of getting my first yak yellow still good ?

Nice job bradley!! I got 1 about that size while @ work 2day :P Handed off a few too... Highlight of my day was watching a ~300# BSB swallow a 20+ YT @ color :shock: :x :lol: <( well north of LJ btw :wink: )
