kayak navi lights?
For you yakers that are out after sunset, how are you setting up navigation lights? Permanent install or those suction cup models? Pics are worth a thousand words :) Thanks all.
|
I use a standard Attwood pole light and base.
|
no red and green running lights required, source of signaling light minimum. all around white light recommended. Scotty and Visi-pole are good ones.
|
i got these ones. one for each yak.
http://www.amazon.com/Top-ratings-pr...2271187&sr=8-5 they have a clip on a bungie that runs through the center, you clip it on one of the eyes you have on your deck and pull it tight then secure the bungie on the side and it stays. if it comes lose (havnt had that problem yet, but havnt used it much) theres a know to keep the bungie from slipping through and it will just fall over and you need to tighten it again. |

All these pics are with VisiPoles/VisiCarbons not scotty haha. VisiCarbons are the best on the market. You missed out on the GroupBuy that we did but we will likely run another one in spring(or PM me for details as I am running one on another site right now) |
Yeah next spring might be a good time for me, thanks for the offer. Do you suggest the scotty?
