was out from 10am to 3pm. TONS of bait. mackerel, anchovies/sardines and smelt. right outside the reserve i ran into a school of macks and seen 12 or so bigger fish that looked like YT in the 15lb range right on the line of darkness following the school. threw an iron at them and had one turn but didnt want anything to do with it.

also in the kelp there were alot of boils and some larger bass going apeshit on the chovies/dines. couldnt get anything to stick though so i targeted the rockfish and goats.

Edit: oh and the next seal i catch, im turning into chum right on the spot!

how'd you fair on them rockfish?

Yesterday was a sloooooow day out there.

Slow until the swedish guy hooked a 60 pound blackie..........

haha. i love that swedish dude. i see him almost everytime im out there. cool guy and real talkative.

found a hole that was 240ft deep. pulled out a dozen or so. nothing special though.

Any four foot goats walking the shore line there ?
