just out of curiosity...how many yards of 80 lbs and what brand of mono is it?

Should be about 450yds, of eighty, something like 675 yds of fifty mono.

not sure what brand and yes about 450yrds. i just dont want it to go to waste and trying to cut the cost of the 50lb :D but its fresh and never used, stored indoors out of UV light for the duration i've had it. and just a guess on brand, it feels and looks similar to the hi seas brand i have and not as stiff as berkely big game 80lb that i use for leaders

80lbs, for towing or fishing??? :)
