Like i said beforre, just got a gopro hero 2, i been taking picture and video....so happy on the out put, but one thing....the program that my computer already had Wndows live movie maker, seem to be dropping the pixels, so i am not getting the clear HD video. when i get to edit and putting it all together. The original file on the SD card i good. What can i do? If i have to get another program, what should i look into? you have to check your settings when completing your movie.
other video editors like adobe after effects cost around $1000.
I would go on youtube and find a free program that suits you.
good luck. Hope to see your video soon.

Have any one ever heard or used this free ware VLC.

I played the video files on two player, plus my HDMI out put, clear, clean video....windows live movie maker sucks, i doesn't keep the video the same.

Not too sure but it sounds like Movie Maker is compressing your video, check your export / rendering settings (if it has any...). Adobe Premiere is great, but pricey.
As far as I know VLC is only a media player, and not for editing

I just tried and got the same results....tried it a second time but this time I selected 'Yes, I want to receive news from GoPro' and the download button appeared.

Tried that too, but no download for me.

I'll burn a copy of the EXE file and put it on a cd for you to download

They, GoPro, are coming out with a video editor in a few months - for the non video editor type person.
