Whaler Outrage? I miss mine.
Why risk it?
I keep watching it over and over. That poor kids shins in the front!
Interesting... the bow would be the LAST place I would run-to...

I say DUMB ASS!
You gonna launch in surf like that , have your shiiiiit all lined up and tested out. Whatever you are going out there for is NOT worth it. Just my .02 (Pretty bad ass slow mo shots:eek::D) |
I think the title says boat stalls in the surf. That other boat is next to them so maybe hey stalled and got pulled in.
Looks more like someone getting out of a hairy situation than doing it for shots and giggles. No way in hell I'd do that with my fancy boat. Maybe give it a slam jam in the yak though |
the guy in the front... I can only imagine what his saying.

The guys were drifting, fishing outside the surfline with the motor off, but when the motor would not fire up they drifted into the surf. The guy up front is trying to get an anchor ready to deploy as a last ditch effort to keep them off the sand. They are lucky they got it running when they did otherwise they would of been completely swamped by the next set.Chalk the whole thing up to Captain error. He should of never drifted in that close without the motor running. At least he saved his boat, more luck then anything I'd say. Maybe the surf knocked around his batts enough they finally made a connection.Old story that's been posted before. I heard the guy up front ended up with some broken bones but they did save the boat, and make it back in the end. Jim |
The other boat is a life guard boat. I'm guessing at some point they got a call off on the radio. I'd like to know how the guy on the bow faired.
Perhaps I am no hero, but were I the man at the bow I very well may have bailed at some point hah hah
I saw this when it first came out a few years ago, still get the chills everytime the guy on the bow gets slammed on the deck.

I had to stop a make sure this wasn't my brother-in-law driving that boat. He does that kinda s**t purposely all the time, and one time I had my wife in the boat and I told him not to do it. Of course he did, and to say the least we aren't speaking. He scared the living s**t out of my wife and injured her slightly. He thought it was halarious. My wife..... not so much.
