first wsb of 2012
 

not a kayak report, i know im kind of getting off track with my latest reports. but i hit the beach for an afternoon bait soak. looking to pull on some bigger leopard sharks but found something else instead....

btw. there was a recent release of wsb from the pens. so this catch does not confirm or deny any wsb activity in la jolla. :rolleyes:

Love the surf fishing. Nice work. squid works.

very nice out ther! my biggset WSB so far is only 18".. and that is on a float tube. i cant catch one on the surf for the light of me.

Ya it was caught on double squid with a 3way sliding rig. Same thing you use to drift for halibut with a few minor tweaks for the surf.
