I just don't want to get run over, so if I'm able to get out this weekend I may hit up Tidelands and avoid the crown in the oceans.

LJ has been kicking out some quality yt this week and seems to be producing more each day. Funny how Matt R's fish report last night had magically disappeared after a few hours of being posted! A timely report that so many endear!. Bait has been hard to get past the bouys....try the pier,some nice greenbacks there.

Fri, Sat. & Sun I believe

The fishing is only on Saturday. Sunday is for the award ceremony.

As of 330pm, only 3 YT were caught. 2 from San Clemente. 1 from the Coranados.

There going to have a venders village that is open to the public at Dana landing Sunday at 1100 hours.

Curious how the Islander guys are doing.

From what I hear the guys who are expected to win chugged to Catalina, made squid and hauled ass to San Clemente where they got their two yellows. If anyone is going to get the grand prize, they sure as hell earned it.

I'm guessing a lot of BWE members participated in the shootout today; I was one of two yakers on the water this morning. I was surprised that LJ was so "empty" (aside from the fleet of PBers).

I believe that statement is inaccurate.

There's been one LJ yella' turned in by a crew of 4 that practiced catching them on a kayak for quite a few years...
