Need a Couple Volunteers for Veterans Kayak Event tomorrow 06/29
 

Heroes on the Water is hosting a kayak fishing event for our wounded soldiers Friday 6/29 at OEX Mission Bay.

We are looking for an additional 2-3 volunteers to be out on the water with our participants. I know it is very last minute for you guys to make it out but we had some changes in the number of vets coming at the last minute.

Send me a pm if you would be able to help us out, or if you want to be placed on a volunteer list for future events.

Hey Matt! Hopefully this one goes a little more smooth then that one last year in DP. Keep it up, they deserve it! Got work tomorrow otherwise id be happy to help.

Thanks to those who have committed to help. This is the first event for the Socal chapter of HOW and it has been a long time in the making.

I will be sure to give a report early in the week.

That other event hosted by a different charity, I'm hoping I learned from their mistakes. The next event we will be planning and give more notice to all involved.

I wanted to give a big Thank You to Margarita Mike and TacMik for being able to make it out and help yesterday. Also to Tommy Gomes for donating the fish for the bbq (we served WSB taco's).

The event went well and to all that have expressed interest in helping with future events we will give you more notice next time.
