San Diego Bay
 

Hit up the bay for a little spottie action and took an extra rod with some squid on it. Caught 9 spotties and this:

Shovel Nose or Guitar fish, or a Skate... All 3 names for same fish the proper name is... Rhinobatos albomaculatus:jig:

Nice report. Shovel Nose, some like to eat them but honestly they are fun to catch but not much fun to eat in my opinion.

they are delicious.
