SD Bay 8-5

Launched out of Glorietta at around 4PM, hoping to sail up the bay and fish when the wind hopefully died. Didn't work out so well as wind blew hard till dark. I forgot what the bay was like on summer weekends, every knuckhead in every sort of water craft was out there. Got plenty of too close drive-bys from yatches and jet skis. One guy in a 40 foot "cool big boy boat" seamed to really take a liking to me. I know kayaks can be hard to see, but I was flying a 16 foot tall bright yellow sail. Any way, caught 5 spotties and headed n. I REALLY doubt I'll be repeating this trip. Mike

Yep. Morons-o-plenty in the big bay. I always get a chance to use my airhorn when I'm out there, especially on the weekends.
