Dana -hooping last night
 

Got on the water at 6:30 and off the water by ten.It was crowded but not as bad as last year.I got a keeper on my first pull.Then had to pull many more rounds to get my second.I had one pull with over a dozen bugs in the hoop!I had a third bug that was arguably legal but figured he wasnt worth the hassle.I also kept three red rock crabs.Bait was split salmon heads.Got off the water early since I am not used to being up late.

Splitting and grilling tails for lunch.I may do Newport later this week.

Awesome, and congrats ... I never stay up late either ... but went out friday night to hit the opening second and got home around 5 AM ... well worth it as I got 2 down in SD.
