Wtb sabiki rod

Anyone wants to get rid of their sabiki rod? Or where can I pick one up today? What brand do you recommend? Tire of loosing my sabiki, I think I lost enough sabiki to have purchased a rod. Thank you in advance.

I dont know how it is for other guys....For me even when I do use a sabiki rod, a sabiki rig does not last that long. They get tangled, individual hooks break off, and after a couple of trips they rust anyways. You will still be buying them all the time.

Just me .

Me too. Keeping the sabiki inside the rod rusts them out real quick.

I find that after I get home, I have to store the rod with the sabiki on the outside in order to make them last longer.

I have a barely used sabiki rod that I will sell for 30.

Agreed they don't last that long. Cheap metal they use. I pay $2.99 for a sabiki set-up but get two from each package. I cut the sabiki in half. With 6 hooks, it's messy. I've been tangled too much with 2-3 or 4 fish on one set-up.

A 3 hook sabiki set-up catches the same fish (only 1-2 at one time), I minimize the tangles, I don't need a special rod to carry around AND I save a little $. :D

my 2 cents.

Just grab the lightest gear you have, put some 10-15 lb mono on it and you've got yourself a sabiki rod. That's what I did.

Really?? Sweet! I HATE my 8' sabiki rod!!! I've always wished I could make it shorter. Used to do the basic light rod thing like the later post stated, but I just don't like the hooks flopping around and the sabiki rod keeps them all confined.
