Long Beach Island fishing
 

I would like to try fishing near the islands off Long Beach. Can someone help me?
Where's the best to launch a kayak?
Where's the best place to fish?

Launch from cherry beach at the foot of Junipero St you will see Island White strait in front of you be aware that the crew boats come to the Island every hour and they dont slow down so stay clear of the boat dock area. Hope this helps you out bring lots of quarters to pay for parking :cheers1:

Cherry beach is the best place to go out of. Just mke suretou bring a lot of quarters.

How much time can I put? Will I have to come back if I go out at 6am and fish til 12 noon?

i tried fishing chaffee island. its pretty close to the 72nd jetty and not a far paddle, but it hasnt had a hot bite lately. going for bugs there have been a complete miss for me as well (went for 3 hours and only got 1 legal)

.25 cents for 15 minutes. I put in 5 bucks. That should give you a ton of time to fish. I say if you paddle slow and take it easy 15 minutes you should hit the island. You have to stay out of the way of the farry boats. If you want I can go with you on Sunday morning. We can try for some bass. Let me know.
