Harbor Freight bungee cords?

Are any of you using this bulk pack of bungee cords? I couldn't resist at $15.99 for about 40 of them. I thought I would check with you all while I can still return them if need to.

I've never used them on a kayak but we use a lot of them in tarpping and wrapping yachts for local and long distant moves. Are there better bungees, yes but my guess you'll loose these before they fail.
UV rays kill all bungees :D

+1

Half of everything I own is held together by either duct tape or something from HFT. Have to love that place.

I've had some luck with tools at this Long Beach location for tools and equipment.

Similar to HF, but not a chain. There are some other tool joints nearby.

Some things like bungee are ok if they are cheap.

Some things, don't go cheap on or you will pay the price. I got some super cheap drill bits and on the very first bit, working in wood the bit broke, cost me a 30 dollar piece of furniture trim. I was soo pissed, I threw the rest of them into the trash..

Be carefully where you "save".:D

Yup, consumables like bungees, electrical tape, zip ties - Harbor Freight & the like.

Something you want to last & not get pissed when it fails, spend more, buy it once.
