Fishing the "Slayfest"
 

An opportunity came up the "RedSledTeam" couldn't pass up...... A local private event called "Slay-fest"! It appears that Anaheim Lake was draining down, but stopped at 15 ft and needed to remove some fish before draining completely. The RedSledTeam stepped-up to the opportunity to fish with some really cool guys from the Inflatable Navy and Capt Morgan of BWE! Check this out....

The RedSledTeam strikes again....

Good to hear from you Roger! Your old Torque is a great boat and very maneuverable AND PERFECT for lake fishing in between kick-boats and tubes. The tube guys like to crowd and fish right next to you! No worries with reverse gear!;) Hope all is well with you.

I believe this was the first and only year for the event, a once in a lifetime deal. The Lake is going to net all the remaining fish before completely emptying the Lake. Anaheim Lake was only opened for 1 year to keep the recreational fishing business open while the River Lakes were under construction.

the entire vid had ZERO double hookups. i was expecting it to be WFO if 75% of the lake was drained.

Vince, there were indeed several double hookups but we didn't catch it on video. Here is a picture of a triple hookup for three kayaks :reeling::reeling::reeling::cheers1:
