2/3/13 Superbowl YT
 

well it seems the cat is already out of the bag so no harm done posting this, besides its my first yellow in the yak and PB yellow overall. This is also my la jolla fish popper after fishing a handfull of times this summer with the stripe. This was caught on a blue and white sumo jig with a glow back. YoYo was the ticket today, they came through in waves and a few would hook up at a time, im glad i listened to the likes of josh (darkhorse) about tackle because i truly understand the power of this fish now, i used an avet SX paired with a calstar WC 6'6" glass rod. It handled the fish like a champ with 50lb pp and 40lb flouro leader. I actually want to sell my yak and join the darkside now :x, anywho was nice meeting drake and kodadog out there, great to see you guys got fish and thanks for the gaf koda, (left mine in the car :( ). I'd like to say i would want to release my next PB, or anytime i still have fish in the freezer for that matter, a beautiful resource to see go to waste. Oh the fish was 32.5 on someone's digi at shore.
