Wheeleez size tire
I have a PA 14'. I was planing on building my own cart. should I use the 42cm or the 49cm wheels?
Wider the better in soft sand for our 14's...
The new cart for the PAs is using the 30cm, I have had good feedback from guys using that size.
So you think 49 cm is overkill?
It's not the width that they spec thats the issue - it's the height. The 49cm wheel is something like 20 inches high! You have to balance width with height - I think the 30cm is probably the best option at just under 12 inches in diameter.

Great point...thanks.

If you want a welded cart with those wheels installed on it shoot me a message. Kai has seen my work and can attest to it.
I have the smaller 24" cm and it works ok for my PA in soft sand > both models 24 and 30 cm hold 175 lbs - I would buy 30" if I had to do it over for a PA...or would trade 24" for 30" if someone has 30" for revo or outback which is way overkill...49 is definitely overkill...

So I went with the 42cm. Biggest reason why was load capacity. The wheels are too big to fit in any of the hatches. Was thinking of making a cart out of aluminum square stock and stored so the wheels become outriggers....still got idea floating in my head. I learned my lesson getting that Ctug. One of my mottos is "buy cheap, buy twice"....not making that mistake again.
