Red in the Face...
 

This has been a rough yr for me to get out onto water. I've been out maybe 5 times in the bay and 5 out in La Jolla. So I snuck out Sunday to get some fresh calamari and look for something big. Loading up on the squid was the easy part, but getting hit on the dropper was the hard part. So I hit the kelp for bass once the wind started to kick, caught plenty. Eventually decided to rough the wind while everyone else ran for cover. Made it somewhat nice since there was no fighting for fishing grounds. Hit a school of reds, almost limited. I had a few really big ones come off, but managed some decent ones!!!
