WCW kick off

Only two weeks till the WCW2007 kick off tournament. I know Brent at OEX and perhaps a few other sponsors have kicked in some prizes, but is there a side jackpot? I'm game. Who else?

esdees 05-06-2007 07:24 PM

I could use some extra cash...
How much are you thinking? $10 or $20 sounds reasonable to me.

tylerdurden 05-06-2007 07:39 PM

I'm in. $20 sounds good.

Any details on the kickoff tournament? Start time? end time? bbq afterwards? location of bbq afterwards:cheers1:? Or am I just running a little slow and not able to find that info?

Only 31 people signed up? I hope everyone is just waiting for the last minute. I see at least 31 people out there on an average Saturday in the spring.

dgax65 05-06-2007 10:50 PM

I'll go in for $20.

wavster 05-07-2007 06:28 AM

What would the side jackpot be for? The biggest fish of any kind, or categories for YT, WSB, butts?

(I understand it's limited to YT, WSB, 'butts)

FISHIONADO 05-07-2007 07:10 AM

Looks like I'll miss the tourney for a business trip. I'll throw in if I get the win with a largest fish less than 15lbs, no fish = no winner. I don't expect to win with that... Just trying to make it interesting for a non-participant. Another good bet would be the number of competitor crashes in the surf or lost rigs from flips. I saw a couple good crashes yesterday.

madscientist 05-07-2007 08:43 AM

Let's make it $20, biggest point fish (ie, WSB, YT, halibut 10+lb). Sorry Dave, but winning for no fish or little fish seems contrary to the spirit :p. Sorry you can't make it. Let's say if no one wins, the money rolls over into the final invitational tournament. However, I will be shocked if this field of anglers doesn't bring in some nice fish.

$20 sound good to me... Should be fun!

lamb 05-07-2007 12:29 PM

I'm in - $20 sounds good to me.

steamroll 05-07-2007 01:50 PM

I'm in for $20.

tylerdurden 05-07-2007 02:15 PM

I'm in for $20.

So these rules are official right?

Nope, I heard Pat did though lol. Doesn't he still have some of the cash from a previous jackpot that went unclaimed?

esdees 05-07-2007 07:58 PM

We're up to $200! I'll bring a little dry bag just for the cash.

madscientist 05-07-2007 08:05 PM

Okay, anyone who wants in should find me or Patrick and hand over 20 clams that morning before launching or OTW. Cash must be in hand before you catch to be eligible. Let's kick this thing off in style!

Corey 05-08-2007 11:06 AM

Count me in for $20.
