Who rides hobie revo 11?
 

And how do you like it? I am still trying to decide on which to get between outback and revo. Like the portability of smaller yak but not sure of stability in open water. But I am not going out to the oil rig :D

I don't own either of them but have spent a decent amount of time on each. The revo is nice, simpler, and faster than the outback. However, stability of the outback is pretty solid. It has two extra molded rod holders and has more cargo room than the revo. I guess it all depends on what you like to do, and how long you like to be on the water

Just half a day at the most when I'm out
I currently have stealth 12 and trident prowler 15
I like both of them for what they can do but trident is a bit long to carry in my super crew shortbed.

Do you do ocean? Lake? What do you like to target?

Mostly ocean these days
I go to nph, dp & MDR. Fish for bass and halibut most of the time.
Went to la jolla couple times for WSB & YT but so far no luck
And I went on a islander mothership trip last year for the first time and plan to go every year

I picked up 2 Revo 11's. One for me, one for my wife. I was strictly looking for versatility. With these I can fish fresh and salt water, lift them over my head (57 lbs. ea.) and put them both on the roof rack. They've been to Montana, Colorado, Lake Mojave, San Diego, etc.

I outfitted one with a couple of Ram mounts for rod holder and fish finder and made a little battery compartment in the bow for the transducer/battery. I'm 6'1, 180 and I do fit in it, but there's not much room left. Stability is OK as I've learned just how far I can lean over.

All in all I could have also gone with the Revo 13, but it's a few more lbs. with the same features. I do admit I'm a little envious when I see the guys in the Outbacks and larger yaks stretching out and even standing.

Why not the revo 13 . Not too much heavier but I'd assume more stability. I have one and love it. I've had a wilderness system ride as my first kayak and a tarpon 140 as my second. Can't beat the hobies in my opinion. But test the revo 13 before you choose the 11. More stability plus added rigging options.

This thing is so light! My daughter can use this when I'm not fishing :)
I probably upgrade to pa 12 when I get more space at home

I have a Revo 11 and really like it.

It is easy to transport, I can put it on top of the SUV without breaking my back.

Overall a great boat.

Previous boat was OK Prowler 15 - big difference!!!!!

Mama has a Revo 11. Loves it. I drive the big PA.

She comes out when I fish and tourists and takes pics. I fish and carry the beer, food, snacks, bait, rods, and lots more.

She and her boat weigh about 180#. Me and my boat weigh about 400#.

We both have the same speed over water. I swear.

The Revo is a great boat for all around yacking.

Can't wait to go out on the water
